Mattress Care

    Sleep Express

As with all manufacturers’ warranties, mattress warranties can offer protection for the consumer against defects in materials and workmanship of the product and its components. This warranty covers a specific period of time depending on the product. The warranty term indicates the length of coverage for defects in materials and workmanship only. Comfort, useful life of the product, and fitness for any specific purpose are not covered.

Defects in materials are flaws in the raw materials that impact the construction or safety of the product or cause it to fail. An example would be a large open knot in the wood framing of a box spring which creates a weakened area that breaks with normal use.

Defects in workmanship are defined as issues that arise out of the assembly of the product by the manufacturer. An example would be a seam that was not properly sewn closed.

Factory warranties do not cover normal wear and tear from use of the product. The useful life of any product will vary and is not related to the length of a warranty. Identical products used by different people may have a greatly different usable life based on how and where the product is used, the care it is given, etc. Mattress products are most often chosen by the feel and comfort level provided. Changes in the health, size, location, and number of sleepers using the mattress may cause the mattress to no longer meet the needs and comfort of the consumer. This is not a defect and is not covered by any warranty.

The shaping of the mattress surface to the body is a normal process that should be expected on all mattresses. These impressions are evidence of the mattress surface adjusting to the contour of your body in order to provide better comfort and support. Pillow top mattresses and mattresses with a more plush surface will show these impressions to a greater degree than firm mattresses. Comfort Contours are not considered defects unless they are in excess of the standards set by the individual mattress manufacturers.

Please see the manufacturer’s official warranty information for complete details.

Manufacturers warranties do not cover the comfort of the product or its fitness for a specific purpose. If the selected new mattress set does not meet your comfort needs after 30 days of use, Sleep Express Guarantees allow a one-time exchange to find a better fit. This is not part of the manufacturer’s warranty. See below for details.

*The HOM Furniture 7 day “Promise of Satisfaction” is not applicable to the following Sleep Express purchases: Mattresses and Mattress sets, Pillows, Mattress Pads, Sheets or Adjustable bed bases.
