Furniture and Décor Ideas for a Prosperity-Inspired Room

In our living room design, Prosperity is brought in through a beautiful area rug that features the berry shade, and beautifully ties together the other colors in the room. The distressed pattern on the area rug is modernized through softened colors, creating a rug that’s both timeless and feels contemporary. Additionally, accent pillows bring pops of the pink color into our space, as well as the other colors in the New Romantic collection.

Another key furnishing in the room is the blue sofa. It’s a stunning complement to the Prosperity based pieces, and you can customize the sofa to your exact preferences by choosing the style of arms, legs and more.

Accent pieces were chosen to layer texture into the space, giving it a designer-approved feel that’s sure to impress your guests. For instance:

  • A swivel chair is beautiful from every angle, coming together with the sofa to create a beautiful conversation area in our living room.
  • A round coffee table is made from solid mango wood and finished in a warm light natural coloration that will add freshness to your space. This table has four wide legs that intersect the round top for an architectural design element.
  • A solid mango wood console table is finished in a warm natural finish. The U-shape legs add a modern element with a geometric flare, bringing a modern aesthetic to the space.
  • Wall décor is constructed of dried hyacinth with a solid iron frame. Sunbursts or spirals, the dried hyacinth is displayed in a natural brown color across the splay of handwoven design.
  • A pouf made from jute and cotton with braided strands adds a pop of interest and trend of all things boho to the room.
The wood is the star of the show in this solid mango wood coffee table with natural coloration.

Looking to add the Color of the Year to your home?

While we’ve focused on a living room design, this bold and rich color makes the perfect backdrop to a bedroom wall or any room you wish to add a bold statement to create a lasting impression. Look for a piece like the area rug that features multiple colors from your color palette to help ground your design and guide your choices. Then bring in texture through different accent pieces. Don’t forget to add greenery for a little touch of the outdoors and a nice finishing touch to the design.
